Just a few to get you all going! Tis the season for Christmas jokes that is for sure! I wonder how many of you have been listening to Christmas music for the last couple of weeks? To be honest with you, I have been listening to Christmas music since November 1st! (I know that is probably a bit early but that’s ok) Christmas time always makes me smile. There is just something about the whole aura of it! It’s amazing when you start to think about what Christmas is really all about. The Living God that we serve and subject our lives to came to earth as a man! Wow, that in itself blows me away! Then, when we start to look at why he did that, it really leads us to His death on a cross years later. How crazy is it that the God of the Universe would come to live with us sinful people in order to then die for all of us! I would like to take the rest of this time to just lift up a prayer of thanks to God for this. “Dear Lord Jesus, thank you so much for all that you do for us! More than anything else though, we thank and praise you for coming and saving us! We don’t deserve in anyway what you have done for us, and still you did it! Help us Lord to remember what this Christmas season is really all about! YOU! Amen.”
