Friends Under Grace February Program Set

Posted by Admin on February 2nd, 2010

Once again we will be privileged to have Sally Costick as our featured speaker.  Her topic for the evening will be The Influenza Epidemic of 1917 or Spanish flu.  This will conclude our programs for the 2009 – 2010 season.

The Paul Bearers will be hosting the dinner for the evening.  Dinner will include a fruit salad, pot roast, coleslaw, rolls, butter, coffee, lemonade, or hot tea and cherry crunch with whipped topping.

This will also be the month of our donation to the Friendship Fund.  We are anxious to see the amount we will be able to add to the fund from your participation in coming to the dinners and the actual donations at the dinners.

As we come to the end of another season of programs, we were privileged to have great speakers and generous help from other small groups and talented individuals.  As we look forward to the 2010 -2011 season of Friends Under Grace, we welcome your suggestions for change and programs, or something you’d like to see on the menu.  The names and phone numbers of speakers will be most welcome.  If you are interested in leading a group of cooks for a month, we would be very pleased for the help.

We look forward to seeing you in February on the 10th.  We have moved this event up a week because of Ash Wednesday.  Everything else remains the same.  Bring your honey and come to the dinner.
