About the CLC

The Community Life Center of Grace, or CLC, is a non-profit organization dedicated to the service and growth of youth and families in the Bradford Area. The CLC is open to children ages 5 to 17, several nights a week. Our 2 main programs are Firm Foundations – an after school outreach program, and Deep Roots – a weekly youth bible study event.  The center also hosts various family events open to the whole community.

Wednesdays – Deep Roots Bible Study, 5 pm
Wednesdays and Thursdays – Firm Foundation, 3:30-6 pm

Mission Statement and Vision Statement

Luke 2:52 tells us that while Jesus was growing up he “increased in wisdom and stature and in favor of God and men”. Our goal, likewise, is to help kids grow and thrive mentally, emotionally, socially, and physically. We want to help kids grow as whole persons, and transform lives by bringing people closer to Jesus Christ.

History of the CLC

The conception of the CLC began in the year 2001 with construction starting in September 2002. The grand opening date was September 14th, 2003 and the center has been reaching kids in the community ever since. Usage of the center has been amazing and well beyond initial expectations. During the first 15 years that the center was open, the number of people using the CLC varied from day to day, but could be well over 100 a day, and upwards of 3,500 a month. The first Director of the CLC retired after 20 years of service in our community, and a new Director was hired in September of 2022. The CLC continues to reach neighborhood kids and their families.
